  1. Just got back from one of the best sessions I have had in a long time! I went out for a 72hr session with Drew Nichols and with 2 guys, in 72hours, landed 140+ fish with some of the big numbers being 3x 30+, 29+, 2x 27+, 26, 25, 24, and countless fish in the 20-23lb range. Drew broke his PB with a 27lb 2oz common which toped off what is surely his best session ever! I will get the full story written up once I get some freakin sleep, I'm beat! Here are some pics until then.

  2. Hello everyone! Just recently joined the CAG and figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Dominic and Ive been exclusively Carp fishing for over a decade. I currently live in Trenton, Mi but caught my first Carp thirteen years ago in a rural creek in North Branch, Mi. and I've been hooked ever since. I'm truly glad there is an organization dedicated to such an awesome fish/group of anglers!

Welcome, I myself am from Allen Park so your only a few minutes away. There are quite a few members within a few minutes of you in fact there are four here in AP, and some in Taylor, Westland, and Detroit. Glade to have another MI member on board!

  3. But for different reasons!

Highs here have averaged in the mid seventies for a good week and a half.

In four months I'll be wishing I was in Az!

I will have to remember plenty of high SPF sun screen to avoid a replay of last year! One of the worst sun burns I have had in my life!

forgot that the body does not cope well coming from 20 degree weather straight to 80 degree weather

  4. I need to find some of those Nash hooks. Is there a U.S. distributor?

The Nash hooks are top notch, as Dean said, BCT is a supplier. You can not go wrong with either the Fang Twisters or the Fang X's.

  5. I have trouble understanding what it does differently.

it is supposed to induce an involuntary feeding response, which some may say is crazy talk, but I have found all products that have compulsion in them to be very good.

  6. Shame CAG gets the rap on this one as none of us speak for CAG.

I DO NOT want to be part of anything that even hints at somehow supporting or using PETA in any way.

+50000 As both a fisherman and a hunter, I honistly can not stand that organization and would not for a second support anything they touch!!!
