    This One Was Just Freaking Weird ~~~~~

    Carl and I went to a new venue, and got SKUNKED, well no Carp or Buffs, but Carl did manage 2 cats, and 2 dumb arse turtles came to shore to check us out,,,,but the really strange thing was, and this is no lie,,,,

    we ere packing up, and I had a few beeps on the DELK, so I set the hook, no run, no peeling off line, just DEAD weight coming in,,,,Carl Asked if I needed a net, and I responded NAW I can manage, a few seconds later this comes to the bank ( Carl sill post the picture, certainly after he reads this)

    It was 100% legal since the hook was within 1 inch of the mouth,,,,go figure?????? so now I ask you.......post a picture of, or tell us about the weirdest or strangest thing you've managed to bring to the bank!!!

    Awwwww, thanks guys,,,,,,this getting older stuff is kinda cool, and kinda sucks,,,,,,

    I really love going to NEW VENUES, then some SOB tells me we were there last week ,,,oh well???

    been a great ride,,,and looking forward to a few more years at least,,,,,got a great wife, great friends, and I'm doing what I love, both professionally and recreationally,(sp?)

    Thanks again Jerome for doing this,,,,it is, to say the least, one of CAGS wackiest events...an event that is really across the U.S.......

    Just got a call from a buddy, looks like there will be flying somethings in your buckets at the ATC

    could be Monkeys, Could be Frogs, Could be Chickens, or could be a mixture of all of them, or could be just monkeys???? but everyone registered will get one....what the heck, this is the last ATC that I'll do so???? why not??

    Don't know what they are????ask someone that had attended an ATC that I did about 5 years ago , matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken Paul, over at Wacker Baits, programmed one of the alarms he sells(FLAZJER) with the "flying scream" :)post-710-0-79326800-1352375396.jpg

    OK< OK< boys and girls, one of the sponsors I've been waiting for just came through,,,,

    so??? what if I told you you that the biggest fish winner, and the first place winners were going to get

    After a nice discussion with a company, and after following a thread on this board,,,,,the Great American Company of EAGLE CLAW hooks, will be assisting us by providing each angler at the Austin Team Championship an assortment of their new to the States Eagle Claw Carp Hooks

    Why is the Austin Team Championship Different?? Especially this year!!

    1) There are more women fishing the event than ever before

    2) More teams from Michigan than ever before

    3) More sponsors than you can shake a stick at

    4) Great Gifts on the Winners Table

    5) A tourney within a tourney, as previous winners will be competing against one another

    6) The first CAG event to "GIVE" you a Patch to iron or sew on your favorite fishing shirt

    7) The first CAG event to "GIVE" you an Aussie Fishing hat

    8) The Song "CARPIE" will be sung at the Banquet by the writer.....

    9) When you add up all you get for free,and the cost of the meals, and goodies that are part of the registration fee,it's almost like your registration fee was used up in goodies

    10) Trust me, a very weird EVENT SHIRT is being made
