    Dates for the 2015 ATC set

    so make you plans now,,,put in for vacations, start being "NICE" to the wife :) the dates are set :) Last Friday and Saturday of the Month way before the spawn, and in time for the winter fatties :)

    I have had the pleasure of being on the Board for several years, 4 recently, and some 4 or 5 years ago,, :) I've been active with the ATC and organized several of them over the years, always having a bit of fun with these things, like HOOTERS GIRLS, and TWIN PEAKS discounts, but alas, I must resign as one of your directors,,,,, Been a chore trying to juggle everything and look for KOI at the same time :) so as soon as Willem can make the changes my resignation will be effective,,,,,been great working with the Board, never have I seen a commonality of purpose so intent on on making your membership in the club a good one ! Can't say enough for Andy, and Willem and Mario, as I've worked closer with them than others but what a kick Arse team we've got, My wish is that Air Force Bob will do his magic and bring the club to another level,,, certainly I 'll be on the forum boards, participating where I can,,,,, thank you all for your support of the events that I've organized--hope I didn't let you down,,,,,,,till I see you on the bank Adios

    Not for nothing,,,,,,and I hope I don't piss you off,,:) :)

    But have you though of this????? the CARP just don't like to be associated with those GREEN ( trash) FISH :)

    perhaps, and I ain't sayng it's gonna happen,,,,,but you catch rate would be better with a screen name like CARP ARE US, or CARPSEEKER, of CARPON, instead of BASSHUNTER125,,,:)

    you should be happy to know that I will not be invoved with the event next year,,,,:)

    so if you want to fish it you certainly can and not worry about my intimidation,,,,,:)

    nice fish,,,,congratulations,,,,,, you should have posted it when you caught it,,,very impressive.

    Willem, this fellow from South Africa, is really a nice guy, we enjoyed his company,,,,,so I now know at least 4 carpers from S. Africa, and you all seem to pretty up staight guys,,,,

    we really need to fish all together one day,,,,,you, Carl me, Pieter, Steve Bates and Michael, would really be nice if Keith Melrose joined as well, haven't seen or heard from him in years,,,

    Carl has more pictures, but he must be busy as he hasn't got around to posting the yet,,:)

    I can't tell you how great a feeling it is to search, and searrch for years to find a water that has promise of big fish, and is not a 4 hour trek to Austin from where we live :)

    So Carl and I as you know go out every other week mostly looking for NEW venues, where nice fish can be had other than taking a 4 and half hour trek to Austin,,,,, and I;ve been looking with Jackie ( my bride) for about 6 years before that, Well Carl and I happened upon a spot about 2 years ago that looked promising, as we were there for only about 2 hours and he brought a 15 #er to the bank, so we decided to try it again, and invited a new fellow to the sport Pieter from South Africa to fish with us.he is a long time carper, but not familiar with american wild waters...we got to the venue and within 2 hours of being there I had a really, really nice run, and brought this 34.8 # beast to the net, a new PB by 8 ounces fished all day , over night and to mid the next day, the baiting campaign was WEAK so there are obviously fish in this lake,,,

    Chris ( peg leg) called and we swore him to secrecy, and he came over, and did a nice 17, fish were from 8 to 34.8 #s all really healthy, and pristine , bank access was minimal so we want to keep it under our hats for a bit or at least till we all take 40's out of there....drove around later and found a Blister package that resembled a dildo, so we officially named the swim the "VIBRATOR SWIM" :)

    so here is picture of the KOI that came out,,,,thanks to my friend Daniel Salby, who is to be congratulated on the BEAST that he recently captured :) and of the real 34.8 as well, all fo the pictures were on Carls Camera so he can embilish later,,,,

    by the way prior to this outing Pieter had only banked a PB of 12 pounds, during the session he got 2-- 14.5's followed by a 20, and topped off with a 25.8,,,breaking his PB 3 freaking times in one session,,,,way to go Pieter !!! :)

    well Oklahoma tried hard but it was 3 against one :) really not fair :)

    David put up a noble fight witha Mirror Capture....but not enough to compare to the Texas boys,,,,,Josh and Carl Were hot, Josh winning the side pot, Carl for the most fish, and I tied David for 2nd place for the biggest fish....lots of fun,,,,,and a ton of stories, that others will talk about with Pictures :)
