    The 2014 Austin Team Championships

    The City of AUSTIN is dynamic, :( this past year they planted some parking meters and they grew up in some of the areas that we had swims in, I am now in the process of seeing if we can get special permits for them,,,, Keith and the Austin Guys are working on final pegs as we speak ( or write) yes, I will be able to post the pegs in advance of the event,,,,just a matter of sorting out last minute details,,I personally live 4 hours from the venue, so I rely heavilly on the Austin guys for this information, I do know that they have been hard at work clearing pegs of last summers growth... long story short, I will get them in a post as soon as humanly possible,, :)

    Due to a last minute cancellation there are 2 slots available for the 2014 AUSTIN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.......go to the registration page, and get her done ASAP

    soon as you register, I will post you up ,,,,,,,, really unfortunate that these teams had to bail on us,,,,,,,,I'm sure they would have loved to have been there !!! but their loss could be your gain,,,, :)

    Registrations are now closed,,,,,we have booked the event to its' max, and there a few angling teams that are in the wings waiting for someone to drop out

    if you do drop out as a team, you fees are NOT refundable..but if another team takes your place and they pay, well ...we'll see about relaxing some rules :)

    this is the thread where all y'all can have at it with each other,,,,we've got YANKEES, SOUTHERNERS, EAST & WEST COASTERS, and teams from the HEARTLAND all participating

    we've got past Champs, champion wanna bees, fist time ATC ers, and participants that were responsible for discovering this one of a kind CARP SANCTUARY......

    Keep it Civil, well as civil as y'all can, and this is about fishing,,,,not about peg draws, who registered and who couldn't register and the like :)

    got a few details to clean up before I post about the itinerary but that's another thread :)

    so let me start this little friendly war...

    What the heck is the matter with you TEXANS, why did you let a couple of Kids from Michigan whip your arses??? you going to let that chit happen again ??? :(

    3 teams will be sending in $$$ talked to them today, Mihai &,Bogdan ,Paul & Jacob and Istvan & Gruia,,,K1 Baits will be there in Full Force,,,, :) ,,,so .....better get on the stick,,,, , and I heard from another that will register tomorrow Carlymoomoos' son and his wife, ..And yet another who will register tomorrow August & ? so now we're up to 17 solid teams ..I willl post them when I get back on the 3rd

    8 slots left,,,we shut down at 25,,,,!!!! Got to be there to win no matter what peg draw format we use, :) ,,,,,Lady Bird has been producing nicely after the Flood, some things have changed...new pegs will be available this year , pegs are being Cleared by our friends the AUSTIN CARP ANGLERS ( Thanks guys & Gals)

    well....it's all how you look at it,,,:) We really want everyone to CATCH , enjoy the event, and go home with memories --- there is NO sinister motive here but we'll talk again as a group and make a determination....

    pros & cons with each system :(

    Tom, I meant to call me after 10 this morning, I go to bed at 9 ( have to get my beauty sleep) but I'll give you a call today........

    guys,,,, take a look at my AVATAR :)

    I love this event, have put many years and much DINERO into make it a fun thing for everyone, and a memorable experience,,,,2014 will be no different

    Oh and by the way the AUSTIN CREW will be delivering lunch to your swim on Friday afternoon :)

    Big thanks go out to them for making the food runs :)
