They are Great fish! I want to catch one on a lure as this has eluded me thus far. All of our fish have been caught on eel, small carp and tench. I hope to get back to europe and maybe have the final leg of my Wels story be written. I will not stop fishing for them afterwards, but will attempt to break my own personal best. Great looking fish in the photos and I Hope that you are all able to persue and catch at least one of these Hard Fighting fish someday.

Now that is Fantastic! The look on your sons face was the reason that we may be able to elevate this species to a Gamefish and not a Trash fish!! The more peolple realize that these fish are Great Sport the better it will be for ALL. JMHO!!

Axel, I wound up with 2 before the day was over! A 5lb. and a 4lb. Blue! As I was departing, a group of fisherman came and one guy had a fish within 5 minutes of making his first cast. It turned out to be a 16lb. fish and they were going WILD. I was Happy for them as well!!!!! We will see what next weekend brings! Later!
