Vali, I believe from this link that the CCC is proposed for Wisconsin and in August, but no specific date in August yet confirmed.

My search found this from AF Bob, but yesterday a final decision was to be made, since other events in August in Wisconsin:
... We would like feed back, both pro and con on hosting the 2016 CCC on or about Aug 6, 2016. The BOD will review all comments and than we will vote on the possible month change! We would also like to hear from any other members that may want to host this outstanding event

Question:
Last time with had section "A" and "E" I believe, and section "A" was a very shallow bay. Is this section still considered or is there another one more appropriate for carpers to enjoy the competition and have an interested event?
Also, will the Park's people prepared the pegs sites or leave it unattended (i.e., neglected) like last time? If so, I would recommend participants bring the necessary tools to make casting easier (if this is allowed).
Just my two cents.

I'm in.
Thanks Vali for coordinating this fabulous event.
Won't be missing it this year. On medication with good results.
Question for Bob: "Do participants need to be registered members of Carp Anglers Group (CAG)?"
Vali did you have sticky fingers when you wrote:
"start the SUA and Canada registaration list"
USA not SUA

Thanks Vali.
Keep us in touch.

Saw info on the CAG Facebook.
Bob mentioned that the Teams were sold out.
The following link provides for 22 potential pegs sites like last year's, but only 20 (incomplete) Teams presently identified.

I believe that it is too be held on Canada's side for 2016. It being held in the USA in 2015.
Don't know who will be the coordinator(s) and where it will be held (location).

Congrats.

Well timing could not of been worse, but my health comes first. I won't be able to participate in the CanAm. Team Canada Captain already made aware.
Had severe persistent headaches since March, had an MRA done in Montreal on August 3rd, and was diagnosed with low brain fluid. Was lucky enough, after all the efforts to find a neurologist to see me near where I live. Was able to see me this morning, she arrange for me to meet an anesthesist and was sent to the operating room for an epidural blood plug. Can't lift anything more than 10lbs for next three weeks, no movement causing efforts and got to rest for next two weeks to see if blood plug worked, if not got to get another epidural until leak(s) totally and successfully fixed.

Come down Lee. Let's bring some Canadian kids over to fish!
Hi Bob,
We will talk when I come down June 25.

Good to know. Now if I can just put the house and outdoors chores away, maybe I'll be able to go carping.

Win some, loose some. That's competition. May the best Team win.
As for beer and bacon. Absolutely. Never leave home without it.
Will let the carp decide. I've heard that that the St-Lawrence beauties favor foreigners, due to our handling and hand position.
LOL

Yeah well!
At the last CCC 2014 in Waddington, I brought good old Canadian beer and gave some to the carps in the St-Lawrence. Told them, there's more where that came from next year, so they passed the word around. "Go Canada Go".
Guess what the Boilies will be soaked in?
LOL
From Beginner to more Advanced Gear

Since I started a few years ago, I haven't changed my habits of buying gear, as for my other styles of fishing and hunting. I buy pretty much was is necessary for the sport.
As for rods, reels and chair, purchases were doubled, since my wife showed an interest, and I wanted her to have the same quality that I got for myself.
Yesterday, I received among some small carp fishing items, my Sonik SKS Unhooking Carp Cradle from Carp Kit (being in Canada, this is one of my carp fishing gear supplier). Although I already had a unhooking map, this latest purchase will be more practical for carp care. Some of the spots I fish have steep rocky banks, so the map really doesn't always provide stability.
As a carrying vehicle for all my carp gear, especially when staying overnight, I have been using a folding deer cart. Can't see myself getting a barrow, considering I already have the means of a substitute.
Of course, when you begging, you purchase adequate stuff, but when you get into the sport and meet others (who have been fishing for many decades) and educate yourself as to what they have and why, then if you can, you upgrade.
Sorry, I can't help you with offering you some of my gear for consideration, but I'm not in the habit (although I maybe should) of selling my stuff.
