  1. All those koi and no fishing, I bet! Zoos can be very educational. We are fortunate to have nice zoos in Chattanooga and Knoxville.

I did Koi Flyfish once at the Polynesian Cultural Center... Let's just say it was "frowned upon" especially by the Japanese tourists when I tied with a twentypounder... ;-)

One of my best memories - the looks on them faces - priceless! LOL

  2. I'm still not able to get over how many fatties you tied with in one session I took a bike-riksha ride there last year and our tourguide told us about all the heavy hitters in the river and how they fly fish for them piggies now I want a piece of that action how many gigs of video footage I can film there is beyond me :-)

  3. I have a few of these coming enjoy!

This has always been a grand experience being able to touch these magnificent sea creatures.

This Mudskipper surely knows how to make a first impression:

Such primal power and might this Silverback Gorilla was pure muscle:

My daughter had a memory-filled day of a lifetime

  5. Wisconsin River "Shocking Report" 52 Flathead Catfish LyubakaVideo

    Fisheries and habitat reports http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/fishing/reports/

Each survey report listed on DNR website is a summary document that outlines significant findings and observations obtained during a survey conducted by staff of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and subsequent analysis of the data by DNR staff. The reports include a wide range of locations and survey types and may document management recommendations supported by data as well as qualitative observations noted by the survey efforts.

The length and amount of detail vary according to the intensity and duration of each survey effort. Reports are arranged by county with the most recent surveys first and then alphabetically within the year in which the survey took place. These are not complete listings of all DNR survey efforts. This Survey was conducted on June 19th, 2014 on the Nekoosa, WI stretch of the Wisconsin River study target was The Flathead Catfish (Pylodictis olivaris)
