Chip are you the same chip that landed all the fish for me a few weeks ago? You saved my day! I Finally got a landing net ! From resistance tackle.. and some 12' rods and baitrunner reels from Andy. Chip I plan on going out to Ford Lake next Friday Oct 3rd if you (or anybody else ) are up for it!

[Holland / Kollen Park]

I am making an impromptu half day trip to Holland on my way down to Illinois ( wont add that much time to my trip). I will only have 3-4 hrs to fish. I was Planning on fishing Kollen Park. Looks like I am gonna need to zip tie my alarms to the railing, any tips for fishing this venue would be appreciated.

I wanted to personally thanks Andy Sprikle for hooking me up with some great gear, it was great to meet you. Also wanted to thank Brian Pearcy for his blog which has lots great tips that are insightful. His tip on making sure your bolt rig is locked in led to me having my first very productive day at ford lake.

Guys Mi carper here looking for a place to fish one day when I go visit family in New Douglas IL ..Can anyone recommend a spot within an hour drive? I am a newbie so an easier spot to fish would be welcomed! It would be around Sept 19th

Hey Guys, new carper here. Just starting to acquire proper gear.I live in Macomb county and haven't had any luck yet at stoney creek...Gonna try ford lake soon! (as I read Brian's Blog), and it looks like I am in the same boat he was in over a year ago, I hope to have a little of the success he has had. I have a million questions, hope you guys can help!
