[What do you do with old rice packbait?]

I've honestly never had a problem making my rice this way and i ALWAYS use the whole bucket before the rice goes bad, however I have had a batch that I kept for a year, it still packed threw well and caught fish

28oz rice

36oz ketchup

1 cup powder sugar

1 cup kosher salt

I pour my ketchup into a bowl, add in the flavoring of choice, and stir the flavoring in. I then dump the ketchup in on top of the rice, THEN add the salt and the powdered sugar. In this EXACT order, any other way is the same but different and will not work properly. I let this sit 24hrs with lid on then fish. You can also double the recipe.
