  1. i have enough trouble trying to deal with all the harmless snakes, and the

occasional racoon :D i couldnt handle wild BOARS too!it wouldnt be pretty

trying to land a nice carp only to get mowed down by Pumba and his friends :D

  2. try a nice mix of soaked/boiled wheat, chick peas and birdseed or maybe some

hemp if you can get a hold of it.also try out some pack baits, pellets and fruit.

but if there are no signs in sight,i would go with the corn(sweetcorn or maize)

untill its confirmed, you cant read minds, if theres no signs your not breaking

    any laws. :D

  3. its not a normal session if i dont catch at least one catfish :D

i did one time catch a 4 lb small mouth on bread,it seems that everything will

    have a go with bread.

i say if your not getting the carp on current baits try corn, you should get

at least one carp a session on sweetcorn. :D

  4. it would be a toss up between Toledo Bend, the Missouri River in Montana,

Columbia River,or possibly Mille Lacs.the St larry and Town are cool i guess,

i wouldnt turn the chance to fish them down, but i think i would rather hit a place

that hasent really been fished,or not really had the big publicity that town or

the Larry get.but i think i would take toledo Bend over them all if it came to it :D

  5. i use Kyston Merlin,Spiderwire(braid and fusion),PP,and more

recently been playing with nylon links.the lengths vary, but i have

been recently going with long mono links :D just to try something

new.cant say i see a difference in hook ups between a 6in or18in link with the

same amount of lead.don't know what that means.

hooks ussually Gama live baits in size 2,4,6.and also Fox 2xs size 4,6.

i also use regualr Eagle Claw bait holders ALOT in 4,6.for pop-ups i use

a Fox series 5 in 4,6 but have recently found an identical hook in the fly

tying section of a local shop, alot more for much less :D come to think about

it i have found a match for just about every carp hook sold, in this section

    of the store.barbed or barbless.

  6. i have been fishing the peanut micros the last 2 months

and have been doing well with them.they have captured

my biggest fish this year.iam not too fond of the regular

boilies,at least in fruit flavor.the fish just wont take them

for me when i have tried them. <_<

  7. while i was fishing with Alex he made it clear to

me that to be a tester/team member you had to

catch rakes of BIG carp to stay on the team.

asked what big was and he said nothing smaller

than 30lbs.he wants pics of big carps caught on Royal

baits dosent matter what species to him either(which is

pretty cool) he takes buffs, grassers, carp.even catfish.but must be BIG. iam curious to how many 30+ lbers have been captured buy the entire team this year so far?

  8. if it were a carp, turtle, ect you would know it.there

would be thousands of bubbles, depending how deep they

are,it will look just like boiling water with the bubbles and

    boils.cant mistake it.

  9. here is something for you.i was fishing yesterday early

in the morning.i spotted a huge line of bubbles,i was sure it

was a carp as they were spawning all across this area.so i

tossed some freelineed bread a few feet in front of this

''fish'.a minute or so passed and the bubbles and swirls

were getting closer, and closer.the line started moving out

and i set the hook into a scrapper of a carp :D or

so i thought, turned out to be a softshell :D he looked

pretty big but all i seen was enough to know it was a

soft shell before it busted the 10lb mono while i was trying to

drag him up the bank,no way is he getting in my net.

  10. kyle,

they can live here, but not they are not native.they

are sold to fish keepers but are not really even common

    in the trade,they are costly,get huge,and are a temprate

species(not really a big demand for temperate species

outside goldfish and koi).i bet you neighbor is confusing one fish with another, unless they are native sturgeon.sterlets

are jet black(ussually) so if he caught one he would remember it :D
