  1. Hello fellow carpers, my name is Jeff. I live within 200 yards of the Merrimack River in Nashua and fish it as much as possible. I'm always open for get togethers and company on the bank locally or within a reasonable drive. Hit me up, I'd love to meet some other NH anglers.
  2. Thank you, I will keep looking in the areas you mentioned. Your articles have been very helpful also, thanks again.

  4. Looks like a great outing and some beautiful fish!!! I am getting very frustrated trying to find a winter spot, here in NH. I have blanked the last 6-7 outings and am considering packing up the rods until spring. I have tried everywhere I can think of where they could be and have read and tried all the accepted/preferred methods. I am really looking forward to the warmer weather already.
  5. Maybe I'll see you out there. I'm planning on hitting it up this weekend also. Maybe we could meet up somewhere/some time?
  6. Anytime. Let me know if you run into any road blocks, I'd be happy to help out.
  7. Thank you Franky. I design and produce large format graphics at work, so this was a fairly easy project. I printed out 2 pieces of 13oz scrim vinyl banner (50"x30"), then sewed them together (similar to a pillowcase) added grommets in the corners. For the padding a buddy of mine cut a piece of cardboard, wrapped it in hd bubble wrap and sealed it in a shrink wrap plastic. The padding can be slid in or out throught the open end of the mat. I made mine in early August and its still holding up pretty well, it goes with me a few times a week and I'm pretty rough on it, so far so good. Here is a pic of a few I made for a couple buddies.
  8. Thanks Will, the drop was a surprise to me. I fished it mon am and got there saturday to find an extra 6 feet of bank! Haha. This swim has produced really well all summer, but not quite this well. I fish the Nashua/Merrimack area a lot and am always searching for areas that'll work well at different levels. I think I found my new low water swim!!
  9. I will definitely check it out. I glanced at it but honestly assumed it was too late. I will read it over again though. There is so much info, events and activity here it is a little overwhelming at first, in a good way.
  10. It sure does. I'm a graphic designer and just doodled it up one day while I was slow at work. I stick decals of it here and there on my gear or vehicles, I thought it was a fun logo/picture. A couple of buddies have nicknamed me "The Underground Kid" recently because of it. It's all in good fun.
  11. Thank you and Congrats Bob! I tried to get down to Lowell yesterday afternoon but I was over my head in honey-do's and then ran down to the river for a quick session trying to get a friend his first carp.
  12. Haha, thank you. I made the mat myself, it is 50" long and has 4" of padding. I'm on the hunt for a cradle now, my mat gets slippery and I fish alone a lot so I need to find a better way to secure the fish while I run to trigger the self timer on the camera.
  13. HI Jerome, that spot has been producing for me all summer, but rarely does it produce like it did on Saturday. "The biggie" was 27-12, beating out my previous pb by over 2 pounds, I'm a pretty happy camper.
  14. Congrats! Great fish and pics Lefty!!
