im from the uk and am moving to waxhaw near Charlotte nc in July and am hoping for some info on where to catch me a few carp...
i fish regularly in the uk for carp (mirrors and commons) and have done for about 15 years and have a mirror PB of 32lbs and common of 22lbs
im looking forward to catching some buffs and can apparently grow very big
the lake nearest me is going to be lake wylie I done a session on it with a friend in a boat fishing for cats which was good but when I move over I'm really hoping to catch a few carp so if anyone has any info that would like to share I'd be very much appreciated
im only really going to be able to fish while the kids are at school so can't travel too far really so would ideally like to fish on the south of wylie or the Catawba river running to it
