  1. Superb. D.Hollow is definitely one on my " to do" list, gorgeous scenery and awesome fish. Well done guys.
  2. It takes a special kind of person to want to catch half starved fish from an overcrowded mud hole. Same goes for the disgusting U.K. " Carp Puddles " too.
  3. The Sea Robin looks to me to be a species of Gurnard. Several types across the pond, which are all very tasty !
  4. Good luck Cap'n. I will be launching my new vessel next week, can hardly stand the wait! Hope First Mate Maximus keeps out of the Rum, yo ho !
  5. Any one seen or heard from Horace Lafavor lately? Haven't seen him post for a while and hoping everything is ok with him and his family, including Maximus of course.

  7. Sorry to hear of your stuff getting ruined, but what an adventure the Old Captain, 1st. Mate Max and crew had today !
  8. Could just be an ex-pat in Miami who has no Carping nearby? I would still be using my gear for Grassers, mind....
  9. Ok , second pic not attaching. I will get this , I think....
  10. I thought they would be munching today and had 7 runs froom noon to four thirty. All on fake pop up corn and as always, great fun on my 2.75 Saxons. These rods are awesome, fill me with confidence in converting runs to fish. I did drop one and had a very rare break off, should have double checked everything! 19 - 04
  11. Just seeing if I can upload from my android. Had a good afternoon session in the mild winter sun today. Five fish to 19-12, nice break from work.
