Only there 2 times, but I know there are plenty of motels in the area, close to the water. Some on the water, and in good places.

Post spawn, definately want to fish the outer edge of the weedlines, and definately good to night fish if possible.

Thanks. Hopefully, we'll see plenty of such reports next year. It isn't that difficult to line up a sizable number of kids eager to fish. A bit harder to run around like crazy when the fish start biting though!

My mind was in to try this year, but my knee, and working interferred. Still, the entire listing of "first year" events done because of this idea (and follow up work), is, indeed, nice to take the time to read through.
