After the drain down of the Miller Park Lake for retaining wall and dam repair the lake is starting to get back to normal levels. The lake still needs about 3 feet of water to be full it is getting better. The first picture is Oct. 2012 and the second is Jan 21, 2013. Hopefully the lake will be full by The April 2013 Miller Park Spring Fling. Fish-On Bill

Conratulations Assembly Bait team member Chad Bettisch for his Big 6 and Big Fish win. Team coach and member Bill Hodge had a peg, strategy and bait session on Thursday evening. The plan of attacking this event definately worked. Fish-On Bill

It needs to be stored in air tight containers in a warm area. large amounts of corn is stored in grain bins with an air system to keep moisture out. also alot of times it will get insect infested. Fish-On Bill

Once again it is time for the 3rd Annual Miller Park Fall Classic.Event runs from Oct. 19th at noon to Oct.21st at noon. I would like to get an idea of how many anglers are planning on attending for chumming purposes. I will chum a couple extra swims over the amount for the anglers attending. Chumming will be done with boiled maize and CSL pellets for 7 days. We will be having a bankside cookout Saturday. Usually there is several catfish caught during the event and I am planning on keeping these and fillet them up and have a fish fry Saturday evening. Bivvies and brollies OK but no tents. Fish-On Bill

The Miller Park Spring Fling will run from Noon Friday April 19th to Noon Sunday April 21st 2013. Me and Chad Bettisch will chum for 4 to 6 days. We are expecting 2 inches of rain this week so the lake level should be up even closer to normal pool. The largest carp at last years Fall Classic was 37-3. Brollies and bivies are ok but no tents. It's going to be another great event. If you are planning on coming please contact me as we do not want to chum only a limited number of swims so to keep the carp concentrated. we will chum an extra 4 swims or so for that will show up. If you want to fish the far side of the beach area let me know also and I will chum a couple of swims in that area or if you have a special swim area you want chummed. Hope to have a great turn out and see you on the bank. Fish-On Bill extras
