Josef will have to join CAG. Then it will cost $50 for the CCC. Then Larry it will cost you $20 for meeting, banquet and dinner.

Me and Chad spent there for one night to check out the hotel. We had no problem with any of the areas. Just because somebody wanted to give alternatives to the event weekend for accommodations that is your choice. I would not chose this hotel if I didn't think it was safe. Fish-On Bill

The Rail City Fall Classic will be held from Noon Oct. 7, 2015 to Noon Oct. 11, 2015. This event will be held at Lake Storey Galesburg Illinois. There will be 2 sets of CAG Challenge medals awarded. One set for Big carp of the event and one set for Big Four of the event. If you plan on attending you do not have to fish the entire event to be eligible to receive a medal. Last years Big Carp was 41 pounds. Camping is $14 per night without elec. or $20 per night with elec. There is pics on the events calendar. If we catch enough channel catfish again this year there will be a Saturday afternoon fish fry like we had last year. Fish-On Bill

The Broadview Inn was chosen because at the time it was the best deal in town. They had everything we were looking for in a hotel. Food for the awards banquet, free banquet room, bar, and cheapest rooms. Everybody was bad mouthing the location of this years CCC but nobody ever offered to step up to the plate and take on the organizing of the event somewhere else. You know the old saying " Talks cheap and I'm not Buying " Fish-On Bill

Hey Dick glad to see you are attending. The hotel is Broadview Inn and Suites. 309-343-9161 just mention Carp Anglers Group for special rate of $50 plus tax so about $59 a night. That is a king or 2 queens. All meetings and banquet will be held there. Hotel has restaurant and bar. I see you have 2 signups so I guess you are bringing the Pro-Carper Lorene. Fish-On Bill

Me and Chad fished it a few weeks ago. No carp only a few channel cats on the small size. I wouldn't waste your time.
