  1. I am looking at September 25, 26 and 27. I was thinking annual meeting, tackle swap and welcoming party for Friday night September 25th. I also have a venue for Friday fishing at just 35 minutes away from Lake Storey. Fish-On Bill

  2. Lake Storey is only 133 acres and I think its pretty small for CCC. 100 anglers and less might be okay in 2 or 3 sections. If water is 4 feet lower and need time for dry up! I don't want to fish on mud!

How about Miller Park Lake? Nice whole shoreline around the lake!

    Dale Hallow Lake in Tenn/Ky?

    Deep Creek Lake in Maryland?

One of Finger lakes in NY?

    Lake Erie in Ohio?

Plymuning in Ohio/Pa....I went there at spillway dam and I never see so many carp! People feed them and ducks walk on carp! Plymuning have plenty of shoreline!

Hey John (chicagocarpangler) You say Lake Storey too small at 133 acres but you suggest Miller Park Lake which only has 14 acres of water. I just don't see your theory anout anything. Fish-On Bill
  3. There is 157 campsites. In the CCCs greatest days on the Chicago River the most ever fished was 130. Why the negative attitude towards the venue? You have never fished Lake Storey or even been in the area.

  4. There has never been 200 anglers. Lake Storey has 5.8 miles of shoreline. Over the last 4 years there has been an average of approximately 50 anglers per year....Fish-On Bill

  5. So Steve all of the state chairs that got one of the expensive sweatshirts and did not put on a fishin have to pay for it? I know there is 2 here in Illinois that did not fullfill there commitment. I did not receive a sweatshirt and i put on 2 fishins. I am sure there were other state chairs that did not put on 1 fishin on as required. Lets get this problem resolved. Fish-On Bill
