There is no creek at miller Park. The lake is fed only by runoff. Fish-On Bill

It was a disaster at Miller Park. We were greeted with winds, rain, sleet, and cold weather on Friday. Chad managed a small channel cat on Friday and a Coot duck. Actually hooked the Coot through the bottom beak. Me and Dale stuck it out Friday night with temps in the mid 20s. Chad went home to a hot shower and bed. Saturday started out with sun and calm winds. Chad showed backup and after lunch Dave M. arrived. I caught 1 grassie early in the day and Chad had 1 latter that evening. Bruce Mitchell had his son Chris show up that evening with his food truck and provided anything on the menu for free to all of us. The food was excellant. Saturday night proved to be another losing night higher winds and coold temps keept any commons out of the net. Dave and Chad each landed small grassies. We have only caught 2 grassies in Miller park over the last 10 years what is up with this catching 4. None of them were over 12 lbs. Sunday started with sunshine and a cold East breeze. The 4 of us packed up and headed out by 11:00A.M. It is always a great time to spend with friends even though the carp were not cooperating. Fish-On Bill

Day 4 chumming completed in the rain. 6 gallons of maize went in today. The fun starts tomorrow. Heavy rain and thunderstorms today and tonight. Fish-On Bill

Chumming complete for today. 5 gallons of maize & wheat and 40 chum balls. Carp ere rolling in the swims today... Fish-On Bill

Day 2 chumming complete. 7 gallons of maize and wheat. 20 chum balls also added to the swims. Water level up 4 inches from overnite rain. Fish-On Bill

Here is some pics of chum balls and maize. The first pic of chum ball in water and second pic of chum ball in water is 35 minutes later. Set chum ball tight so they will be a slow break down for this weeks chumming. Fish-On Bill

Water level is up a little more. Expecting another 2 inches this coming week. Going to start chumming on Sunday. Will chum for 5 days. Chance of a little rain on Saturday other wise it is going to be a great 3 days. If you are planning on making the trip please post on here. Fish-On Bill

Got maize cooking for chumming. Up next after maize is done is wheat. Also chumming with CSL pellets. If that combination does not do the trick then nothing will. Fish-On Bill
