holy giant picture!
great fish on the flyrod, finally getting in on some fly fishing action my self this summer....its the most fun I have had in a very long time.

I have come full circle, the euro rods have been collecting dust all summer as my arms have been getting a work out, not from that I am married....I have been chasing carp from the kayak with some pretty good results finding fish in deeper water anchored up out on the middle of our large resivors....this was fun I even found my self chasing ever species in the lake from gar and drum and bufflao to green sunfish and white bass hybrids and striped bass.....
but this weekend I went out and waded mud flats with a couple of guys that looked liked terrorist with "buffs" on there heads and polarized sunglass and over sized hats....stalking carp with fly rods, and I rediscover how much fun fishing can be....there is something very visceral about seeing the fish sneaking up with in sometimes a couple of yards of them and presenting a fly and watching the fish come over and eat it and having the water erupt around you carp fishing with a fly rod is about as good as it gets....

Brett and I headed out this weekend for some yak fishing....
caught this weird looking carp
:D even at 7.5 lbs it took me for a ride...I will have to say lb for lb these fish own carp in the fighting department....

I will be bringing 1 bag of 20mil rosehips and bag tub of pop-ups and a small jar of tigers and 3 peices of fake maize and a can of yellow sweet corn and a can of white sweet corn....scotty whats my odd's

like I said I was looking at some old post on the ATC and came accross this one...had to bump it for the guys heading to texas

was looking at some old post...and I had to bump this...don't want to be vain...but with the ATC coming up....this is till one of the most perfect fish I have ever banked.....err I think anyone has ever banked....a solid bar of gold....looking forward to the ATC this year...fish seem to have some real weight on them.....

so I was fishing town had my 3 rods out and a float rod in the margins baited with sweet corn....I had had one fish on the float yesterday morning and nothing else....
a row boat came through....if you have fished town you know what I speak of...and that litterly took out my entire pod and all three rods I was yelling and stuff but they cam right though my lines....see the side ways upside down world wide pod in the background with rods going every which way....as I was going on about them going through my lines to the crowd that had stopped because of my yelling..it was then that I notice my float doing something weird and then it just vanished....I ran over to it picked it up and was into this guy....took sometime to land on 6lb line.....long story short a jogger stopped to watch the whole thing....and then offered to take photos for me...batteries in the cammera were dead...so she snapped a quicky with her camara phone and promised she would e-mail it.....
and she did...

It is real easy to attach photo to a BB Messenger Chat. Even Rod knows how to do that.
If he wants to send it as an MMS message all he needs to do is go into Media>Pictures. Then go to device memory if it is stored on phone itself or media card if one is installed. Then find the picture you want to send, hit the menu key (right of the trackball) or click the wheel (older BBs) and select Send as MMS. At this point the Address Book will open so you can select who you want to send it to.
the D.A. has a blackberry and no data service....

Should be more, they have gotten alot of good feedback on the short we did. We didn't catch we only had about 4 hours and the spot had been baited for a week then the weather changed massive warm up and crazy wind....we will be doing a proper 3 day session in the near futare hopefully. dont forget to leave your feedback on the site
