I thought I was well like by every one..... come on its just carp fishing...still 80 quid aint bad to have some one pic you up at the air port take you to the hotel and show you around the water and some of the spots that produce..and be there the whole week to help you anyway they can...I mean after all if it wasnt for Dave and Brian none of us would have the pleasure of fishing town lake they could have kept it to themselfs instead they shared what they had found with every one, I for one am greatful for that...so to have a person that is associated with one of the pioneers of town lake one of wich has had the 2nd biggest fish to come from there and the largest of all last year in our humble club, take you show you around the water I mean that has to be worth something??

its not that bad it looks like that money includes the room and some other stuff....

its not any diffrant then someone guiding on lake fork or castaic for bass...... if i was gonna fly 1/2 accross the earth to fish I would want some help.....and be willing to pay for it

Keith: The Royal site looks to be offering a bunch of really low priced goods. Each of the items (rod, reel, alarm, pod are $40-$50 range)... Not yet any quality items that the connoisseurs of fine carp tackle would be interested in. Fran Seems to me I remember one of the biggest things we were supposed to be all about was getting more people into our sport. I may be wrong!! You ain't gunna' do that if you have to lump up upwards of a grand to get you going with 'tarty' gear. There is a definate opening in the market for the lower end of the price range. Seems as though we already have a few places to get the 'tarty' gear from already. I think (well I would, wouldn't I?) Alex is definately on the right road aiming to bring a lower priced selection of gear to the States, as well as the Top Quality bait he has brought as well!! I can recommend the rods to anybody out there, Carol has a pair and they are as good at playing fish as the Fox ones I use. They have quite a bit of back bone to them too, I had an 18lb'er on them a couple of weeks ago that was determined to get to a newly submerged fallen tree, I locked down on the reel and heaved, the rod doubled over and I was able to muscle that baby out of there!! Check the reels out too, well priced I do believe!! Karl I can recommend the rods to anybody out there, Carol has a pair and they are as good at playing fish as the Fox ones I use. I fish with the long shank pretty much exclusivly now and havent noticed any thing like that, I do use a peice of rig tubbing on my knotless knot also fish with a softdrag, Im not river carping though

ACS long shank, I cant say enough good things about them they are awsome

caught me gasscarp on the corn micros and a couple on CBS pop-ups

badger stuff is hit and miss some of there products are great some are crap I use there bank sticks think there a geat buy for the $$

dude we all know you have a personal problem with the ACS guys...wich is beyond my understanding because they have never been anything but kewl to me and you...but by doing this you make your self look like a total ass...what else do you want they offerd to buy all of the stuff you bought from them back plus 50$ and you refused must not have been that bad <_<
