Well done again Christine!! Very seriously jealous of that mirror! You look wasted in the second pic lol. See you in a couple weeks! Must be some of my mojo left on that pod LOL

64!?!?? At the surface in slow water? I'm still getting 49/50/51 at the lead in 12 feet of water. Damn snot weed it has totally changed the river, I can't believe I'm gonna say it but I'm hoping for a small flood lol
-
Rebel you're only an hour from me, I'm in Binghamton on the susky straight up 81. We need to get together man. Most of my spots are all within the closed region due to walleye spawning. I've been on a 4 session blanking streak that I'm blaming on the super tall and thick snot weed in te swims that have never had it. Hoping this rain brings the water up a bit.
-
I hope so, most of the swims I've been working on are all covered in this weed, haven't been able to get around it so in stuck fishing in it with chod rigs, I saw the rain coming but cold temps si no hope of getting them more active. I hate the weed lol
-
Skammer, you fish the Susquehanna right? I've noticed the same weed in many of my river spots where there normally isn't any. I think due to the lack or rain and flooding that the water has remained very clear allowing the weed to grow longer and thicker

They feed the trout corn in the hatcheries in new York, that's the go to bait opening day at all of the ponds, lakes, and streams they stock.

That's not too bad, less bang for your buck I guess sometimes but not a loss that's for sure. There are very very few circumstances in which I'd use 3 rods as most waters Are chock full o carp but it's nice to have the option.
-
3 rods in new York and Pennsylvania now. Resident fishing license' run $19.00 for a year, what are they up there for one rod? Damn govment!

Keep at it Logan, like I said before, if you're baiting an area heavily try casting to the edge of it. Or have smaller tighter baited areas, lots of times in my experience that's where the bigger fish come from, and most times my secondary areas are in or right next to snags. It's no coincidence. Good luck boys.
