So?????
Wayne Boon, found a team mate.. ....
Shesh, Wayne !!!!!
I mean with all you contacts, and influence the best you could come up with was
STEWART McKENZIE?????
The MADCHESTER CARPER ?????
Number 2 in the WORLD!!!
This could be interesting !!!
I've been keeping an eye on the line up and have yet to see the name of Stewart McKenzie. Have I missed something???

We will have some back up swims for people unable to walk.
Richard
I'll be needing one of those " easy to walk to swims that are promised to produce huge carp in mass numbers due to my back. Both Days.
-
Loosely translated then Goober = Delusional Noddie
Us Paylakers call the Pilgrams. Very excited and think they know everything but when its all said and done they need the locals to keep themselves alive.
-
Boy, Tom, if that is just he beginning of your assualt on those fronting carpet baggers up North, I hate to see or hear what happens at the corn boil before the ATC.
The Corn Boil will go smoothly for sure. It's when the event starts that the bullstuff stops and the real Carp anglers rise to the occasion. Poetry in motion. The ultimate arousal. It's just what a paylaker does. SMOOTH and EFFECTIVE. Not a single motion waisted.
GUS

really?
p.s. I think Scott means "ganesh," which of course is a Hindu name.
Sarah.
Will you be attending the ATC?? I sure hope so. It wil give you a chance to see some ""real Carp anglers"" in action. I sure hate to set ya up for a real let down, but as of yet I don't think you've had the experience. I know, the truth hurts, but it had to be said. New experiences for all I can promise.

Milk and sugar old boy?
I've been scolded for using cream so 2% milk will do along with the sugar. Spot on.
-
I don't believe finding a proper cup of tea will be a problem either.

Isn't Pat the sly one.

with 270 hooks in the water for two days solid, its anyones game
Mark. Its not how many hooks, its whats on them. Will those Hooter gals give a shoulder rub???
-
Well, its looking like a full field event. Who ever might win will be doing it with full honours. SWEET.
-
I was just looking at the line up. one out of three is from Texas. Ya'll are pulling out all the stops. Oh well, I guess the carp will level the field.
-
OK guys, enough with all the French, hows about a little english.

sorta kinda like fishing over there in pay to fish ponds with the twist that you can win money for the fish you catch. they are man made lakes with very close pegs and stocked fish techniques used to catch are specialized for the waters
with regional differences and bait preferences . the techniques and baits will however work in most other situations with the usual adjustments to conditions with of course the exception of them not working at all this year at the ATC.
if you check out the paylake section of the forum you'll get most of the idea. to be honest you kinda have to experience it to get the real idea... not so unsimiliar to my guessing what its like to fish a lake over there.
""Whats Paylaking?""
Exactly the reaction from the ATC crowd last year when a paylaker won the Event. Although the Paylaker in question is a born and bred N.C. paylaker, he has migrated to Texas, hence, the Trophy is still in Texas.
The question could be answered by asking most particapents in this years event just what they plan on having in their bucket this year. Odds are it came from a Southern Paylake in one way or another.
And, it could be said that it is the most efficiant, streamlined, no frills method on earth, to catch Carp. A tackle tarts worst nightmare comes to mind. Most don't even use a chair cause they don't have time to sit. Myself, I use a chair, due to my age.
Finally, Paylaking is the art of Catching, everyone else is just fishing.
Of course all this is Just My Humble Opinion. This is the BS Section isnt it???
I'm putting on my crash hat now.
Tom.

Mark.
I like your style. and your lineup. I just noticed that Team "Fish On" is your first pick. good choice. Very good choice.
-
Nope
100% TEXAS !!!!
Neil.
You need to shave. The Trophy will go mobile this year, and ya'll are just going to get used to it. Give it a good shine for its new home please.
-
PHONE.
Any truth to the rumour that your planning a trip to N.C. for a crash course in paylaking 101??? That would'nt be cricket now would it??
-
Well now, looks like the field is starting to "" shape up "".
-
Tom....after the event...you'll probally wish you never helped me. The student will become the master.
Did I mention that you wont be getting your package till after the event???
-
No complaining here....long as someone gives me just a handfull of yellow boilies.
My thoughts exactly. Maybe I can bring a JAR and we could do some trading with some of the guys??
-
No worries on that front. We always rig the draw to give empty pegs to first time paylakers... it keeps 'em humble, at least the first year
Brian.
I am the essence of humble, and plan on being most gracious upon accepting the coveted ATC Trophy along with my partner, Colin.
-
Thanks Brian.
Would you happen to have a noddie rig I could borrow??
Just joking. So far as anglers crying about whatever, thats why I got two ears. In one and out the other.
Its a premier event and no one can challenge that.
Tom.

What about Catfish. does town Lake have a bunch??? Or are they few and far between???
-
How far away from my Peg can I fish. Say, can I split the difference between me and the closest peg to stalk a little?? Can I fish with two rods on my peg and stalk around with the other??
-
So. If there are 50 pegs and 35 anglers, there will be 50 peg numbers in the hat but only 35 drawn out each day???
The real teams in the ATC
in ATC 2010 and back...
