for your listening entertainment while fishing....OR...of you get a peg close to someone that is an Incessant bitcher, you can turn up the Volume
They might also help who ever peggs next to me. My beepers are very loud.

I was looking at the posts and pictures of the Texas FFF... Looked like a prelude to the ATC for the Texas crowd to me. Sure hope Jim didn't show too much.

Actually photgraphed the lumps he had in Austin last year too.
Every one I saw (all of them) were fairly hooked in the mouth, none of them had chit the hook length out and rehooked themselves any where on their anatomy!!
Nor had it slipped through any gill plate.Keith has that buff catching down, whilst I could give two hoots whether I get one, seems their mouths were a bit small for the hookbaits I was using.........two boilies on a size 2

Keith knows his business some make like admit to this..looking back on past post and actuall fishing with him he does not fish with a hook lenght as posted. Surely hope I don't come across the wrong way here....
So, I take it that you have actucally seen Keith catch Buffs with a hooklength different than posted???????? I too don't want to come across the wrong way here, just need a little clearification.

thanks for the vidio Jerome. I must tell ya that I had to turn it off after about the umpth time a carp spit out the hair. Looks to me like they just don't want the stuff. and that the rig works quite differently in a zero gravity situation (( under water )),than in ones hands.

But, odds are the rules for registering a TX record will be followed. The TPWD has indicated they will be available again this year as they were last year. It's a great opportunity to register a new record, which I would believe would then become the new mark to beat.
I plan to set the record during the ATC and then to break it during the TCC
When you tie the ""New Record Carp "" have a look for the hole in his lip where my 1/0 owner was set.

I got my "" official "" entry package yesterday. I was going over the directions to the ATC and had a question. Why do I need to cross the Rio Grande????

One important announcement to all paylakers (( Indi crew included )).
Being Paylake editor I have been given the task of ""checking your buckets"" before the event.
please make sure that you all submitt (( to me )) at least 24hrs in advance, a sample of your packbait. I will then let ya know just before the event if the packbait will be allowed. PS I will also need a complete written recipie.

Biggie, the final odds go out 2 weeks prior to the event. Preliminary odds are only dictated on the teams in now. I would imagine your team's odds would be very steep, just because of your weak attempt at trash talk. Bring a good partner..

BTW its whats in the Carps jaw that matters. All the rest is just for show.

Sounds like another trophy to me. Who can best Kill a good Hole...... Sorry, the (( proper term )) would be " a bad Peg Draw ". I've been doing a little slide rule stuff and it looks like it will take at least 600lbs to place. This is the tash talk section isnt it????

I will be making a trip to Texas this ATC. Shall I bring the Warriors or the paylake rods? It won't matter though. Luck of the draw? I think not. Thats the excuse for losers.

I was wondering, since you are so good with the computer and all, do you think it possible to have a picture of all the winners of the ATC holding the trophy during presintation????????? And a nice picture of the trophy by itself, in waiting, would be OK too.

I would guess that the record would have to be ratified by the TPWD before it can be considered a record. Have to check with the ACS guys how they would handle that situation.
Thanks in advance. I already got my order in for a 50. As we say at the paylake. Man, that will make some truck doors and trunk lids slam.

How often can I move locations???? Are all open pegs fair game???
Say you have 48 pegs and only 30 show up. Does this mean there will be about 18 pegs fair game??
