  1. Hollywood.

A few things just don't add up.

For one, why is it that not a singe Paylaker on this board knows these guys??? A second thing, how did these guys get a spot in an ATC event??? I would bet they were groomed by someone in the organization. The Pedigree of these guys seems a little fishy to me. Looks to me like an inside job. :D Either way, something stinks about the whole thing. <_<

    Tom.

  2. I ate the squid when I was in the Nam. The only preperation was it being Sun dryed after being run through a set of rollers that seemed to squeeze all the juice out. Oh yea, it also squished all the flyes that went through with it. I always wondered what those black spots on the dryed squid were. Anyway, it wasnt so bad. Just don't take such a big bite cause the more you chew it the bigger it gets. :D

  3. Hawgmaster.

The picture doesn't do the fish justice. How she blew the hook clean out the gill plate still has me scratching. Since Big Buffs seem to be the talk of the town I was wondering, why wouldn't Texas have even bigger Buffs?? A December trip to Town Lake might just turn some heads.

  4. MN, how do you unhook them is the wrong question.

The question is how do you Cook them. Those thing you guys call snappers are cooters. The very best thing you every ate

    Here is how

    1. Take a Bit wash pot or the bottom of a 55 gal barrel and fill it with water and bring it to a boil.

    2. Cut the cooters head off and drop him in. only for a min or so. Just enough to make the skin come off.

    3. Take him out and pull off all the outer skin and claws. He will then be clean

    4. Cut himn out of the shell by cutting him down both sides and seperating the top from the bottom.

    5. Sepperate the shelkl from the meat and cut the meat into four sections, Like a chicken.

    6. Skin the outer parts completely.

    7. Pressure cook the cooter for 20 mins

    8. Fire up your grill , take out the cooter and bast him with your faborite bbq sause, and grill him till brown.

    9. Pop a top and savor the experience.

    This cook is a 10.
