I'm just trying my best to figure out what the hammerhead is going to do with the gear???? Can't be used at a paylake without standing out like Saddam Hussein in tights.

Sorry but that fish looks like he did about 10 years in a Paylake.

I ate the squid when I was in the Nam. The only preperation was it being Sun dryed after being run through a set of rollers that seemed to squeeze all the juice out. Oh yea, it also squished all the flyes that went through with it. I always wondered what those black spots on the dryed squid were. Anyway, it wasnt so bad. Just don't take such a big bite cause the more you chew it the bigger it gets.

Hey Cactus Carp, the word is, a mainline pineapple boilie.

Absolutely magnificent John.
I sure would like to chunk a ball of Pack into that pond.

Thanks Scott
I should have known that but all these abbreviations are getting the best of me.

Don't laugh but, what is the, or was the ATC?????

To start with I need to apologize for hijacking the thread. I have started a new one under the Bait section, I think. Being a Southern, paylaking, knuckledragger, one can never tell.

I just consulted the expert on the ( Del Monte swim), and the Green Giant says to try the Dole swim if you plan on using the Pineapple.
As for me, I have declared my swim a Boilie Free Zone.

Thanks for the chuckle. I sure hope the baited hole shown in the photo isnt the hole that you promised I could fish??

Its too bad no Buffs. Looks like the Buffs down there would go 80lbs+.
Texas has more and bigger everything else, why not Buffs.
What was the water temp??

You got me all wrong pal. I would enjoy the trip South but for the same reasons I went North this year. New places with new faces. The truth be known, I don't even like to Buff fish. Too intense, if done properly, for this old man.

Tracy.
Would any of the Buffs you catch on Worms be 50lbs and up??

Hawgmaster.
The picture doesn't do the fish justice. How she blew the hook clean out the gill plate still has me scratching. Since Big Buffs seem to be the talk of the town I was wondering, why wouldn't Texas have even bigger Buffs?? A December trip to Town Lake might just turn some heads.

Just what is the name of that Pay Lake where you caught Carp on a douball?? Is is close to North Carolina?? Man, I sure hope so.

Brian and Phone, the quintessential Carp Team. Would you guys mind sharing your method and mix ??

Master Kyle.
40 years is a little on the conservative side but, it aint how long you been doing it, it's what you've learned while you have been doing it. One would be hard pressed to find a more humbling sport.

MN, how do you unhook them is the wrong question.
The question is how do you Cook them. Those thing you guys call snappers are cooters. The very best thing you every ate
Here is how
1. Take a Bit wash pot or the bottom of a 55 gal barrel and fill it with water and bring it to a boil.
2. Cut the cooters head off and drop him in. only for a min or so. Just enough to make the skin come off.
3. Take him out and pull off all the outer skin and claws. He will then be clean
4. Cut himn out of the shell by cutting him down both sides and seperating the top from the bottom.
5. Sepperate the shelkl from the meat and cut the meat into four sections, Like a chicken.
6. Skin the outer parts completely.
7. Pressure cook the cooter for 20 mins
8. Fire up your grill , take out the cooter and bast him with your faborite bbq sause, and grill him till brown.
9. Pop a top and savor the experience.
This cook is a 10.

Hollywood.
A few things just don't add up.
For one, why is it that not a singe Paylaker on this board knows these guys??? A second thing, how did these guys get a spot in an ATC event??? I would bet they were groomed by someone in the organization. The Pedigree of these guys seems a little fishy to me. Looks to me like an inside job. Either way, something stinks about the whole thing. <_<
