Looks like vegatable soup. Might there be just one part of the mix that the carp might find they like best or is it a combination of all the ingredience that make this mix sooo goood? Honest question.

Yeah that was exciting for me as well. Clearly the big fish had to try hard for the puff do to the hanging stomach, but it did what it had to get that puff.

I've had the large carp spit up such in the net.Fry will often sit way out in a lake especially if it is over a shallow bar or weed bed.
I'd always wondered about the possibility until standing high up on a ledge over looking a lake I saw a mid double carp rocket up to the surface and inhale a 2-3" pond shiner. Over the next couple of days I witnessed this same behavior time and again.
In addition to fish fry I can imagine them doing this with any variety of aquatic insects or tadpoles.

The best post yet. The water temp will tell you what you which packbait to use. It will pull them down.Any idea of water temp?
I never use zig rigs, never found a need yet myself. I would suggest adding a pack bait or method to your arsenal to get them feeding.

For the very first time, and I mean this with all due respect, a bait that is not a Euro mix can be shown without being blasted off the forum. WOW, how times have changed. Had anyone tryed this two years ago they would have been given at least three warning points and threatened to be cast to the dogs.
