  1. When myself and the Indy boyz are out fishing, I'm told i'm backward.

Dale we didnt mean that you fished backwards, we were saying that you are backwards. :D LOL

I'm right handed but fish left handed. I hold the pole with my left hand and reel with my right hand. According to my left handed brother this is the same way he fishes... so I guess this makes me a right hand, left handed fisherman :D It is pretty funny to see some who is the oppostie of you grab your pole and try to fight the fish :D

  2. The ideal about splitting the venue between the two lakes would help with the growing venue(unless all the bank space that Scotty talked about is avalible) I geuss, the only problem is with that like Richard said, Alot of people including myself look forward to going to Austin to fish Emma a couple of days before the main venue. Unless...like the Chicago (CCC) this past, fishing is allowed before the turney, witch go's back to the same thing "IT'S THE LUCK OF THE DRAW". If you draw a peg that was pre fished "Luck of the draw", if you draw a peg that produced the day before "luck of the draw', if you draw a peg that didn't/did produced fish the year before" luck of the draw", if you draw a peg that is the fav or less fav "THATS THE LUCK OF THE DRAW".

The cost of the trip/venue, is what it is as long as it is posted before of any uped or lowered fees(one month before at least), cheaper would be nice though. The money i've put out for any of the two ATC's that i have made was worth every penny. The social part before and after is worth it itself.

The big buff pot is a good ideal... Right Don, Keith? :D.

This past ATC it seemed some of the pegs were unfishable("luck of the draw") and some of the pegs were shared by two teams, so said, some of the pegs can be shortend but some cant.

With a growing venue like the ATC changes will be made Good or bad, its all part of it when you sit down and plan this trip as with all trips.

A lot of people make the Austin trip just to break new pb's(I aint mad at you), this could happen any time...before, during, after and if a pb or even to catch a fish in Austin does'nt happened (right Dale) it wasn't the fault of the people making the event happen, its all part of fishing.

The people running/helping with the ATC... Neil/the KID, Brian, Scotty, Zack, SPONSERS and all others do a hell of a job!! I think the question at hand is not how we can make the ATC better but how can you make more room for more anglers.

My two cents ok maybe ten :D any way what ever happens I'll be there, fish goods willing and $$ of course.

  3. Awesome pics Amber. I would love to fish Lake Shafer, I've heard a lot of good about the lake...only prob is if you dont live on it , you dont fish it. Keep posting the pics, pictures will just have to do.Keep up the good work!!

  4. Thanks Kid... Thoughs words(thanks Kid) reminds me of the old soda commercial where the little kid gives Mean Joe Green the soda to drink and when hes done, Mean Joe says "hey Kid"and throughs him his jersey. With all that seid...maybe Town will call out to you next year and say"hey Kid " and though you one of thoughs big golden bars your way!! Good luck and thanks again to you and the Dock for one of the best times/venue ever!!
