Hi Amber, Welcome aboard. Were you at the CCC ?
-
I'm not sure what a lampray is, but two weeks ago i was in my favorite swim and was noticing that some of the carp had darker red splothes on them. Then on one of the last few carp i had cought in this session while in the net had a leach on it .Not just a small one either i mean a big sucker ....no really A BIG SUCKER,7-8 inches long 1 inch wide...wow the biggest one ive ever seen.Becuase the carp are a bottom feeder the pore guys pick up these blood sucking hitchhikers.

WTG!
Do grass carp fight as hard as a common of equal size?
Congrats Dean, those guys get alot bigger.
Hey Kyle, IMO grass carp does not put up half the fight as a common, the biggest fight that a grass carp puts up is right at the bank or when your tring to pick them up and get a pic of them.

Great story and congrats, cant wait to see the rest of the pics.

Phone’s expenses
For those considering next year's ATC already here’s what I spent. (7 days from when I left home.
Lodging $340.00
Gas 184.00 (855 miles @ 15 mpg; aprox cost per gal 1.75)
Food 107.00 (I don’t drink beer)
New net, bait and some kit: 150.00
Fees 70.00 (Tx license, pots, etc)
Total $850.00
Hey Phone glad to of met you in Austin, hope you got that seat picked out you were digging for in Austin.Another tip on beating the cost for the trip is to take a partner with you ,split every thing.(not that Brian was a bad partner, probly got heavy aahhh)LOL.Be careful and I'll see ya next year at Austin or some where else if not before then hopefuly.Good luck

Well, it was time to pack up and head back to Indy,I know I have probably went on to long but,I wanted to make sure I got all the pictures with the stories as I went along.
Before I go,I need to give a speacial thanks to Brian(Carpaholic),not just for holding the best damn show around but,for all the help he gave to the Indy boys.
Another big thanks to the ACS crew for all their help Dave,Wayne and Sean can't wait for the shop to open up in full swing.
O.K. I'll end this before I take up any more of your time, the ATC was one of the best times ever and I strongly suggest ,if given a chance, make the trip next year, you will not be disapointed.
Good Luck to All!
