  1. Between me and Bob,we had caught 8 fish, total weight 127.13 that gave us 8th place overall out of 30 teams.

Sunday, the last day in Austin,we got a late start but, ended up going back to the peg we had the day before with the whole gang, when we got there,Scott and Jerome were there and had landed some nice fish including Jerome's new P.B. CONGRATS!

Scott and Jerome got up early to beat the crowd to the best pegs wich is probly why Scott had to take this time to plan out his attack.

  2. But it was time to pack up and head to the hotel for the Boilie Party...beer,pizza and conversation with everyone there....couldn't wait.

After a late night,it was time to get to bed for some rest for the next morning compatition 6:00am we started drawing pegs, unfortunetly we drew a bad peg,as well as alot of others but, being there was still worth it.Some of the pegs that day had produced some nice fish ,and pounds well into the 200's.

Day 2 had alot in store, peg drawing Sat. morning promised to be a better day,as Missy and Enriquo had this peg the day before that had produced some 20's and a few that got away with visions of big lumps rolling at the bank.

When I had got to Austin,my P.B. was 20.4 this day would be one I wouldn't forget, first fish of the day was,20.8 my new P.B.

  3. Trying to post the pictures with the stories but I'm not sure how to do it all together so ,bear with me.

We met up with Tommy Riley and Tal,who were catching some nice fish in the upper 20's,I caught one,12.8.The only fish that night.

  4. Just getting back and settled in after an awesome trip to Town Lake.WOW!Man,it was every thing I thought it would be,the excitement of the driving adventures over to Austin ,to getting there and meeting some of the most respectable and sincere people you would ever meet, even some of the tough guys...Scott Osmond,Keith and the one and only Phone, simply the most awesome bunch of guys you could spend time with on the bank and at such a beautiful place as Town Lake.A big thanks to the over seas bunch that made the trip to Austin some of the most professional and polite people you will ever meet. One of the things I enjoy most of events like this is meeting new people and putting faces with the names I already knew from the forum Tommy Robinson,a bit of a thug on the forum but,a hell of a nice guy and congrats on that P.B. a GREAT fish.

We left Indy Tues. night about 9:30pm headed for Austin,20 hours later and a bit of R.V. problems on the way,we were in Austin.the first night we stayed at Emma Long Park on Austin Lake.

  5. I've had it happen to but like Phone said it was in shallow waters,With a quick hook set it will turn the fish's head toward the top of the water and with the fish's instinct to run they jump right out of the water.Thats why the bass fishermen have'nt got anything on carp fishing ! Power of the fight and a occasional fish jumping out of the water shhhh.... nothing better than carp fishing.
