A great catch. How did it fight? What did you use for bait?
caught on the bait stops creamy bananna pineapple maize
put up a decent fight and our own neil stern AKA scubadoc did the net job for me

My first snow carp, not big but nice venue

sheepheads are known as the poor mans lobster, very tasty fish indeed

I did notice that all the ponds in my area that normally produce have not been producing as of late, perhaps it is as you stated the water must be much colder in these smaller bodies of water and the lakes being much larger have areas that are warmer than other spots on the lake

I am pretty new at carping but I was out on new years day and the water temp was around 45f, we hauled all day long, with 3 of us we landed 10 in a few hours, if they don,t feed at colder temps then why did we have such a productive day?
I believe your statements are incorrect phoneand you should spend more time fishing and less time posting

have not fished SoCal in awhile but you might want to try lake casitas, brought in some bigguns there.
