I have this on my list of events for the year but still trying to work around a couple of other things that month. Now, if I could just figure out a way to bypass driving through chicago!! LOL
-
Very nice PB's guys. Well worth the long trip and I'll bet you're so missing this snow!!! LOL
-
Yes John you can fish chciago river and lake Michigan even with 50 rods I believe but on third rod and next ones you need to put your personal information: name and address.
John, you can fish 50 hooks. Any more than 3 rods require your name and address and such.
Paul is correct on the number of rods. I'm sure Chibigtee means "any more than 2 rods require your name and address".

Why does Adam wear those blue gloves ?, Is he a proctologist ? ;) , Nice job, Ed
I'll bet he could show you !!!

Mark
Paul Here from Chicago. I will be fishing Milwaukee tomorrow.
Doesn't anybody ever work during the week anymore? You're making it tough on us retireees!
-
Good to see this venue starting to produce. Maybe the haulfest is just around the corner. I recall Grp A having one of those last year with many big fish about the same time of day. That's what make the "points system" so much better than "total weight". WTG Winter League!!
-
WTG! Very nice article and the pictures you & Teo take are always great!
-
Brrrrrrrr!! Sure a heck of a lot colder than San Diego. I hate winter already.
-
I think the temperatures out here are supposed to run around 70 (+/- 2 degrees) for the next week....how boring can S.D. be! Now, if I can just find a "ditch" to fish.
-
Pony Express rider finally made it to my door. Very nice!!! 61108
-
Still waiting in 61108!!
-
As always, Teo's Pro Photo Service shines! Sure hope there's a few fish left without holes in their mouths when I get back. Merry Christmas to all of you.
-
Don't forget that a lot of other low 20's were not being recorded the last month. They were just too small to boost your total!!
-
Great session! Looks like it'll be SRO at the "fence" this winter. Good to see plenty of activity on the coal pile.
-
o r going to love the complete Delk set up....No wonder they are #1......If you got SNAG BARS, the hard covers will not fit,,,,,
Iain, if you read this,,,is there a fix????
Hmmm....my covers fit OK. You need to pull out the "bars" but the cover fits OK over the new back plate.
-
Hmmm....you might want to hang on to those tiger feeders.
-
TG some of these folks have jobs. We don't want the banks too crowded during the week.
-
OK...I'll play! I'll even give you guys a 2 week "sprout"....unless you want to include California in the states!
-
Frank, I am trying to visualize fishing with only my left arm. Doesn't seem easy but I hope to find a way eventually. Any suggestions?
More than likely you'll be fitted w/ the Ultra Sling II. It's not easy, but it can be done. I had to get rid of the little "massage" ball and stand sideways to the bank. Two words for your post-op........ICE MACHINE!!! It was the difference between Rx pain killers and OTC acetaminophen.

A couple of hours at the gym, a short nap, more time having breakfast with my retiree group (discussing life) and you're just climbing out of the sack!!
-
Getting ready to head to the gym this morning and the temps have really dived overnight. I thought 37 degrees made a tough bite Wednesday on the Rock but this sure won't help. Anybody check the temperature at Joliet or Milwaukee?
-
I might even go so far as to chum Jackson Street and the area around pegs 3 and 4 at Bum Park for several days prior to 1/1/12. I plan to start at Jackson at 11:00 just to see if there is a chance for a catch at 12:00. If I blank there before midnight, it's off to Bicentennial Park. However, I doubt that I'm willing to fish alone in Joliet in the middle of the night, especially on New Year's Day. If anyone is considering fishing the FFF at Joliet, let me know. Thanks.--Frank
I'm thinking about finding something to fish that doesn't require the battle to stay warm....like San Diego. think I'll start making my burrito boilies right now!
-
I can see where this is heading. I'm out! Hope to catch up with some of you over the cold months and share some bank time. Good luck to everyone!
-
If I'm driving all the way down from Rockford to fish in the rain, you gotta think more than 10 are going to show! At least it won't be snowing and we'll be able to see the far bank!! LOL

I've been hitting the Rock River in Rockford during the last week. It's about a ten minute drive from home and I can park about 30' from the bank. A 3 to 4 hour morning session normally produces about a dozen or more fish. So far, 17-3 has been the largest but a couple of buffs have shown up that may jump that up a bunch.
