From the reports Ive seen, the guys and girls of the CAG Ontario division have been busy and been catching big ones! Your absolutely right Jamie, lots of 30+ fish have blessed the mats! I am also heading back home in a few weeks to be part of this chain reaction and would really like to catch a few lumps myself. Looking forward to fishing with you guys. Cheers!

Here's two links from a Hungarian site of the SBS baits team fishing Rainbow lake. The lake is riddled with snags and the anglers have come up with ingenious ways to tackle these problems. Check it out, just scroll to the bottom of the page & click on the videos. Sorry its in Hungarian, but the video says it all.

Absolutely right Jamie, I really am proud of the vast waters we have here to fish for Carp, but Carp fishing in Europe is something totally different. Thanks for those videos, they're awesome.

Great session Mark. Nothing like the tranquility of night fishing and the cool of the night.

Pollution plays a big role and who knows what chemicals still exist in our waters. Thanks to Mike Harris who really cared about nature & keeping it pristine...........NOT! I'm not worried about the chit I see, i'm worried about the chit i cant see! I've seen people taking carp for consumption from HH . God know what chemicals they are ingesting.

Looks like you guys had fun, thanks for posting those pics!

I believe its the spirit of the Carp Gods! You need to catch less fish. LOL, all jokes aside, you may want to check the batteries. I use the Diawa optronic alarms and had a similar problem, but when buddy Shawn offered a fresh Duracell battery everything was ok. You may want to try it and if all fails use the warranty & get it changed! good luck.

From what I read it all adds up to a great venue to fish the quiver tip with light tackle! Reminds me of the European venues. Heaven!
