  1. I'm sure the media will be covering the reports of this conference. There will be a lot of ignorant and uninformed individuals who will learn 2 things 1. Invasive 2. Carp. There should be a comparison of the many carp species and explanation of which is which. We all know the reputation carp have in the new world!

  2. Yes, right over the order on the Michigan side is a massive venue.None of us have fished the venue just yet, but plan to next year. If the fishing is good, then discussion on getting the Canadian members and Michigan members together for an event would be in the works.

Was just curious as to find out the distance for the Canadian folks.

The majority of the active members live in the Halton area ( Hamilton & Burlington & son on ) and it looks to be a 1-2 hr drive depending on the traffic, Would be nice to have such a get together, what are the costs involved in getting a fishing license on the US side? The good news is we can finally use 2 rods :party0012icon::yes:

  3. I would recommend 5 gallon buckets stored in your basement. As bill mentioned insect infestation would destroy the corn. If your storing it in water the corn will smell awful for when you will fish next season and transporting the stinky stuff will be an issue.

  4. well whirlpool is definately the whirlpool, the onee lake they went to..........not to sure...........and the spot with the birds, looks like one of the islands...........hmmmmmmmmmmm google earth...........engage!

I did do a search on Google Earth and could not find the Bird Sanctuary. I doubt it was on the C.I, I also checked T.T. Park, it may be there?!?!?

  5. Around my neck of the woods this is a killer tactic........spring, fall (when the gobies arent out) Once the gobies are out.......a firmer corn (cattle corn, pigeon corn) does the trick. I fish the centerpin and long reed floats..........1-3gm and its devastating and super fun!

Mark, heres a 29,2 taken on the pin and float.......enjoy!

Awesome video & awesome fish buddy! Seen the video so many times but never get tiered watching it again and again.
