What a shame, yes they really were nice people who put a smile on your face. Too bad to seem the shut down!

The fact that you can use 3 rods makes the whole idea more interesting! I'm game!

I'm sure the media will be covering the reports of this conference. There will be a lot of ignorant and uninformed individuals who will learn 2 things 1. Invasive 2. Carp. There should be a comparison of the many carp species and explanation of which is which. We all know the reputation carp have in the new world!

Awesome venue! How big was the biggest carp out of that venue?
-
Ahh, but it is 3 rods in Michigan.
Here is the costs involved with the licence:
Thanks kentlakecarper now I can really use my rod pod!

Yes, right over the order on the Michigan side is a massive venue.None of us have fished the venue just yet, but plan to next year. If the fishing is good, then discussion on getting the Canadian members and Michigan members together for an event would be in the works.
Was just curious as to find out the distance for the Canadian folks.
The majority of the active members live in the Halton area ( Hamilton & Burlington & son on ) and it looks to be a 1-2 hr drive depending on the traffic, Would be nice to have such a get together, what are the costs involved in getting a fishing license on the US side? The good news is we can finally use 2 rods

If it holds big carp we will drive to Timbuktu! Any thing special there buddy?

Looks like a swim to work on & the results will definitely be there! Good job on the nice fish! The blind carp seems to be a fighter & a smart fish to have survived all the disabilities ( Blind eye half a tail fin )

Looks like our cat is out of the bag! More & more shows are interested in carp!! Will there be a carp pro shops soon ?!?!?
-
Looks like an awesome swim! Gr8 fish as well, thanks for sharing!

I would TM the product before the big boys get in this new product!
-
great looking fish whatever the size of the river!
-
I would recommend 5 gallon buckets stored in your basement. As bill mentioned insect infestation would destroy the corn. If your storing it in water the corn will smell awful for when you will fish next season and transporting the stinky stuff will be an issue.

Awesome fish!

Wow gr8 fish puff daddy! The ninja turtle owes you one, maybe next time it'll keep clear of your swim!

Shimano has a great selection, I'd check out their float rods before making up my mind.

I would recommend you go to any foam shop ( furniture foam & upholstery ), there are a few in Hamilton & you can have them make you a custom made cover. I'm sure you can have them make it to your design.

Too bad I couldn't be there :-(, one day, one day I will be there!

Awesome fish Nathan! What an amazing venue! You always catch gr8 looking carp! WTG buddy!

Around my neck of the woods this is a killer tactic........spring, fall (when the gobies arent out) Once the gobies are out.......a firmer corn (cattle corn, pigeon corn) does the trick. I fish the centerpin and long reed floats..........1-3gm and its devastating and super fun!
Mark, heres a 29,2 taken on the pin and float.......enjoy!
Awesome video & awesome fish buddy! Seen the video so many times but never get tiered watching it again and again.
