hey Idaho Carpin... thanks for the imput anyways... i don't know what it is but the water is loaded with carp, i've catch 100's in the 5-15lb range there but anymore all i seem to catch is turtles i can't keep my boilies out long enough for the carp to get to them

Welcome to the CAG forums. I never had any issues with turtles so sorry I wount be much help there.

I use to be a member but never did any of the online stuff just read the magazine. i'm getting a little more computer savy now and checking it out. I fish NJ mostly and do pretty well, I have a major issue with catching turtles more so than the carp and need to find a bait that the turtles don't eat. anyone with suggestions please reply
