Best pod in any situation is the Fox Sky Pod. This pod does it all very well.

You want to talk trendy? How about Euro gear and boily baits in the US?? A laugher if ever I saw one.
Geez, Phone. You are unrelenting in your efforts to put me out of business. Could I perhaps bribe you with a nice pod and a set of buzzers?

PS - Paul Pezella, Jake is waiting for his bathtub full of silver dollars.
Next week, for sure. Just need to find a box big enough to ship it in.

What does that mean???
I just can't bring myself to call David a "great guy." In all the years I have know him, I don't think I have ever said anything nice about him to his face. Privately, I think the world of him.

a giant replica of a Carp, and you walk into the store through the mouth !!
That isn't TOO farfetched. The rear of my building overlooks the Eisenhower Expressway, 6 lines of highway leading into Chicago. It has long been my dream to put a giant carp on top of the building,
.
And, sticking to the theme of this thread, I agree that ACS will have a very strong and positive impact on carping in North America. Sean & Wayne are great guys. David is a special case.

To elaborate just a bit more....
It is from the Hindi "pakka" from the Sanskrit "pakva-, from "pacati", he cooks.
As in Pakka Pellets, they COOK!!

I have three for sale, would like to sell as a set.

The Department of Homeland Security has decided it is OK to fish with corn (they are really making the import business difficult). I know a lot of you have been waiting for the Pescaviva corn and I am pleased to announce that we now have a great selection of flavors, both cream style and whole kernel.

WB&T has received some new materials from Gardner Tackle. We hace Carpwise 1 & 2, Carpwise 3 & 4, Carpwise 5 & 6 on DVD and Rigwise & Baitwise on video. American format, of course.

I cleaned up an stretch of bank on the Chicago River and posted a sign about 3 weeks ago. I have been back a couple of times since then and the sign is doing its job. It has not been torn down and the bank is remarkably free of debris. No beer bottles, no styrofoam worm containers and only a couple of short pieces on old line.

Just a short note to inform you that Wacker Bait & Tackle has just received a bit of gear for the pole angler. Including several Fox poles suitable for carp fishing and assorted bits & pieces.

Hook it around the leg of the largest ring on the tip section of the rod. Use rod bands to tie the rods together and to hold the lead/feeder/whatever in place and out of contact with the rod.

Good points, Buster. Now that you mention it, he is clearly in violation of the Elbow Rule.

I heard vague rumors of a 90 pounder or a 75 pounder being caught in canada recently. That could be the fish.
-
It is about time, buddy, you should have had one long ago. But the wait makes it even sweeter.

Vacuum sealing and freezing works fine. Another option would be to check out the all-natural bait preservatives at America's favorite bait & tackle store.

They guy next door had a bum set of scales, it is obvious from here that the fiish is 31-8.

You should get back into it, Mark. Get some matches organized in your area.
There are actually quite a few match anglers in the Chicago area, probably because we have Mick Thill in residence. We don't have matches every week but they are fairly common.

No, Phone, I do not know what sort of creature you might have in mind. THis is new to me.

there is a tapeworm nematode
I know you have virtually no interest in facts, Phone, but tapeworms are flatworms (Platyhelminthes), not nematodes (round worms).

You should be worried, Raymie. She has the lovliest voice I have ever heard and unbounded charm. I do seem to be falling for her. I know she deserves better than you.
How long is that stick?

As of today, Wacker Bait & Tackle has joined up with Amazon.com. I have only a couple of items listed but there will be many more in the weeks to come. If you go to Amazon and search for "carp" in the Sports & Outdoor section, my items will show up.
I hope amazon.com will help me reach a larger audience but I also hope that all my current customers continue to shop at Wacker Baits. I do have to give Amazon a little taste for every sale from their site and I would prefer to keep the $$ in my own pocket.

Wayne, where is the cut-throat competitive spirit that characterizes our capitalist society?
Seriously, I appreciate that. Very generous of you. Let us hope the American carp industry stays civilized. I have not had occassion to purchase anything from the ACS but I am sure I will and I am confident that the service will be outstanding. I know it has 3 good guys behind it.
