[long vs short hook link]

I would say short to be from 3" to 6" Medium 6"to 12" & long to be 12" to ?? to be long, i generally fish the same way as you as i use shorter rigs in winter vs the summer months because the fish are more likely to be moving around in the summer months. Most of my fishing is done with a rig between 6" to 12" (6"winter, 12"summer)

Shortest rig i ever tied & caught on 3" (popped up directly on a 3oz lead) & i guess longest technically would have to be about 12' (fly leader) but other than that floater fishing i use 4'of hooklink if fishing at range but actual rigs? i think i tied a 24" rig one time but not sure if i ever caught on it

As soon as you get fraud on any card, its compromised and you should have it cancelled immediately. Most bank/credit companies will issue you a new card for free

in their infinate wisdom somehow my bank thought it worthy of waiting for the refund first. All woman at the bank..........just sayin!

Carpediem My reference to CRAP was all the blaming and accusations that have happened in the 12 Pages I beleive some of it may have been removed. My account was comprimised and I had to replace my Card My Bank caught the unathorized transaction.

Checking my records i have used Paypal EVERYTIME for an online purchase in the last year, Apart from last night when i used CC at BCT!!?...........& i still got hit somehow. My guess is that its not necessarily Carp tackle shop related.

Ever thought about making a Saxon Spod rod in 4.5 - 5.5 TC to match the carp rods ? Sure would be a great addition to have a matching set of kit...plus I bet you would design a spod to cover all our needs for spods casted with maise to pouches for casting method balls.

Well finally saw a Saxon rod in person today thanks to Dave.....I must say that is one SWEET rod , which of course means I will have to buy a set (of three) this season for sure.

Yeppers! got to show off my new piece of kit to 22 of Ohio's finest @ Larry Kinsler's "WINTERFEST" on Saturday & the response was a truly positive one. I cannot wait to try this rod out (as soon as the damn ice breaks) & look forward to buying another to complete my NEW set up. Thanks again to Iain for making this happen.
