An avid angler since a youngster in England. Captain of Bucks Police (Thames Valley Police) angling team. won the Police National Angling Championships on the River Severn in Shropshire.Won many other premier matches whilst still a serving officer. Took up carp fishing in the U.K. during this time.Came to the U.S.in the early nineties fished for trout ,salmon,etc. finally moved to Illinois where I fish on the Rock River for carp.It is so different with the prolific amount of carp in the U.S. I have had success with fish in the thirty to lower forty lbs.I told my sons back in England that It was as though I had died and gone to heaven.
