    Hi evan 

    im moving to waxhaw in July from the uk and am going to be looking for a few spots to catch a few carp I'd be very appreciated if you could head me in the right direction,I'm thinking wylie but there aren't many spots that haven't got houses on? So any help would be great

      I am over by Raleigh in Louisburg. I have a fish-in next weekend on Kerr Lake if you are free.

      As far as the Catawba, this spot can be good for buffs in the spring. This spot I have seen some very nice fish come out of (I hear the snags are bad).

      Let me know if either of these might work. I'll find some more if not.

      Hi mate yes the spot in fort mill iv been thinking of trying so will def try that! And will look into the other one 

      can't really do weekends as the wife's off work etc... but if your ever up my way during the week let me know and we can sort some carping out!!

      I understand the "wife" factor! Many carp carp anglers do I think. I'll let you know if I am out that way during the week. Todd Davis is not to far from there and is a great resource for place all across SC and west NC as well (former State chair) - Hawgmaster on the forums.
