Hey Guys, I joined CAG a few months ago and have been browsing around some of the great content on this forum. I have been fishing for Carp since I was in my early teens but only started it back up here last year (took about a 15 year break J ) after moving here from Europe.
I’m in the east end Scarborough/Pickering area, and have identified a few spots I will be targeting this spring:
1-Frenchmans Bay (close by, limited bank space, little info on water online, looks very promising)
2-Bluffers Park (close by, limited good bank space, get’s very busy in warmer months, boating etc.)
3-Little Lake / Otonabee River, Identified some spots, read about this online sounds like an awesome location! (this will be once in a while as it’s 1+ hr drive) If anyone has some tips on good spots please let me know!!
4-Lake Scugog (this will be once in a while as it’s 1+ hr drive) and apparently very weedy
5-Milne Dam, (not too far, lots of snags, tree trunks and shallow in many places)
I know there are good spots in the Hamilton Area/West as well but traffic wise that’s not always great but I’ll be sure to check out the Hamilton Harbor at least once this season.
Heading out for first session of the season this weekend, can’t wait!!!
Tight lines!!
