New Stock From Daiwa And Jaxon At New World Carp

We're all counting down the days until the carp season starts. Here at the Carp Cave we've been doing some renos and making room for the new tackle and baits arriving for the 2011 season.

This week a new shipment of reels from Daiwa arrived. The popular Emblem Spod reel is back in stock, and we've added the Basia QDX- a heck of a fine reel for only $630 with free shipping included.

Also this week a load of goodies from Jaxon arrived at NWC. Check out their new line of affordable alarms ranging from $9.99 to $34.99, including the very cool Pro Carp 7 Camo alarm. The Carp Smart 7, at ten bucks, is a basic beeper perfect for the beginner or casual carper. At the other end, the oddly named Profi- 1 offers all of the bells and whistles you could want for only $35. It's soft touch case contains more features than you'd expect for the money.

For over two years we've been trying to stock Jaxon's Metal Safe net and we finally suceeded! Available in either a 2.6m or 3m model, this net features a rubberised mesh basket, telescopic handle, and arms that fold down along the handle- a bear paw style net. The metal block that locks the arms in place is much more reliable than a plastic one and the mesh is sturdy and fish-friendly (spouse-friendly too as it helps to reduce odours). Over the next few weeks we are expecting new stock from ProLogic, Daiwa, and some great new baits and old favourites from our friends at CUKK. Watch out for the new CUKK tigernuts and some great groundbaits available from NWC on April 4. We are also expecting baits from Mistral in the next couple of weeks. And NWC is adding selected tackle and accessories from Korum and Preston Innovations this season.
