"Andy was one of the first people I had met through carp fishing when I was in Michigan. He taught me a lot about carp fishing and helped mold me into the angler I am today, in addition to being a great friend. Andy served many positions on CAG over the years, from State Chair to State Chair Director, to Treasurer and President. Whatever the title, Andy was always a bulldog when it came to his job. Because of his hard work, CAG came out of bankruptcy. CAG is fortunate to have someone as passionate for the club as he is. It is with great pleasure I would like to name Andy Sprinkle as this years Champion of the Queen Recipient!" (Santosh Shanmuga - 2013 CCC)

"Some of us have named Willem the Octopus for being involved with so many tasks and projects at once. He has been the backbone of this administration and an absolute pleasure to work with. To list a few of his accomplishments here goes: He built the CCC website, the ATC website, revamp and upkeep of the CAG forum, the integration of the old CAG database and forum into one saving the club annually over $1000, he handles putting together and sending out the new member packets, is the appointed Election official for the CAG presidential elections, was responsible for updating the ATC and CCC leader boards with live updates, he handles the CAG Facebook account and has introduced the hit series of photo albums called through the eyes of a carp angler. He is also responsible for countless other tasks and for all this I have selected Willem to be our 2012 Champion of the Queen Award recipient!" (Andy Sprinkle - 2012 CCC Plenary Meeting)

His commentary sprinkled with ohhhs and ahhhs and talking to the carp reminds me of TV bass fishermen- quite entertaining!

I am still overwhelmed by this well organized and beautifully hosted CCC!
Many thanks to Jim Donlan from West Side Bait and Tackle for organizing and contributing so much time, effort and monies to the success of this 20th Anniversary CCC!! Jim is truly a magnificent host whose efforts created a huge comfort zone around the events. For one instance - I'll never forget him coming around with lunch at the paylake, a cooler full of pops in one hand and a backpack full of hotdogs.
Although the fishing was slow, it did not put a damper on the festivities....
Special thanks to Rick, Denise, Amos and Paige - There are many others in this Indiana Group that deserve thanks and recognition for their parts as well! Thank you so much!!
So many sponsors supported the event and show their dedication and belief in our CAG club. Dave from BCT and Paul from Wacker Baits, Magda and Ernie from World Classic Baits not only contributed but also participated in the event.
The camaraderie was fantastic- two nights of food and drinks, and music at West Side Baits. It was great to see old friends and meet new!
I certainly didn't take near enough pictures but rumor has it that a video of the event will be made available:

The 2011 rules said a fishing license was required. I also saw that on another CAG forum thread about this year's tounament. I'm wondering.... has anybody ever heard of a carp tournament contestant ever being challenged by DNR for a fishing license? I realize it would be inappropriate to advise someone not to bother with one, but seriously, has it ever happenned?
Too funny!
Walter--This is a rough map that, I am sure, will be refined in the coming days. In the meantime, this will give you an idea of the spread and the lay of the land. (Click on the image for a larger photo).--Frank
Thanks for the map, Frank!
I see my hotel is approximately at peg #9

I will play by whatever rules established. Although, I would much prefer being able to go with 3 rods.
Looking forward to the event and meeting a lot of members I have not met before.
