Soniq Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Dear all, Well, we all drew straws for who would post here about the Grand opening of the ACS e-store and I got the short one... :D To the few rock throwers out there... be nice to me, pretend that I'm only the messenger... Seriously though, we wanted to let you know that the ACS e-store is now up and ready for business... You'll find the link for the e-store on the main ACS web site... Would like to say a BIG thank you to all you serious Carpers out there for the many words of wisdom, encouragement and positive constructive comments along the way, they really helped!!! Also for being so patient during the long foundation building process we've endured... We would also like to single out the pioneering suppliers of Carp gear in the US for all their help and supportive actions/words: Paul at Wackerbaits, Rob, Danny and Pete (Daddy) Henwood at Specialist, Bill & Wayne at BoilieShopUSA, Alex at Royal and all that came b4 them... Lets hope the future brings many more tackle outlets for us all to choose from as this will surely indicate that our wonderful sport is growing in a positive way!!! Sincerely, Dave, Sean & Wayne ACS
Justin Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Thanks! Looking forward to buying some things
Guest Tommy Robinson Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 It's about time Wayne!!! For cryin' out loud man ,what have you been doing while Sean and David were hard at work? Sorry man had to bust them first . As a member and owner of some of this tackle I have to say it's gonna be well worth the wait... and like you said, kudos to the other stores for paving the way. I hope you all do well and keep it real.
LONESTAR Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 about bloody time so when is the DVD going to be ready
Paul Pezalla Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 The best looking site in the business and some pretty good products. My congratulations to the three of you and may the cash flow reverse direction.
Jerome Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Just spent 20 minutes browsing. Very nice job, guys. Must be a ton of work behind the scenes. I'm impressed. And one has to admire a co-founder of a new tackle store who finds a way to publicly acknowledge competitors in very nice terms in his launch message. Class act, Wayne. So... Wayne appears to be the computer guy... Our special investigators provided a completly unofficial shot of the ACS office... I wonder who is doing what out there...

Two out of the three are chronically nice, great guys to hang out with. Gotta wonder how they ended up with David. Paul Pezalla
Paul Pezalla Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 the pioneering suppliers of Carp gear in the US I suspect there might be more of these than many of you realize. Here is a quick list off the top of my head: Nigel Griffin - EuroTackle Fritz Vatter - CarpSense (Canada but supplied the US) Peter Clapperton - Andy Grantam - Specialist Angling Supply Aurora Tackle Additions? Corrections?

Guest Carp Fever Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Does any one know how I can get in touch with Nigel John
Big Carphuna Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Wayne, If I had money Id be there... Nice looking and well built site. keep it up... BTW, I had a pair of Fritz' 2 1/4 Green Herons, they were my first "carp" rods. Nice, and lasted for 2 years before they met a car door (thanks to Joe Borodawka..) ..

Corrections? Clapperton was Krafty Katcher There was that guy Pete Calderon (sp) from Class Tackle that used to go to the CCC in the early years. There's Iain Sorrell, who's re-emerged, still selling Delkims and he used to sell SBS stuff. Mainstream Angling.... I'll check the old NACA's when I get a chance, think there's a few more....
ukcarperinusa Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Sean, Wayne and Dave That's a great looking site you got yourselves there. Congratters and good luck Karl
RichB Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Aye, nice one. Will look into getting something in 2005, as that is the next time I am fishing...although I might sneak one in at the end of December. RickyB
